- Interestingly, one of the main themes in this Bond film was an actual world event – the 1937 Global energy crisis. By including this theme, the producers are encouraging audiences to consider what might happen if oil really did run out and predict what the outcomes would be for society
- This film was set in London (UK), Thailand, Lebanon, Macau and Hong Kong (both in Guangzhou, China) to show that where is the background set in or they could put the film in a nice, calm place so that people think it's a non-fiction film.
